Student Crisis Management

In partnership with the FSU Police Department, the Office of the Dean of Students, Thagard Student Health Center and other campus entities, the UCC assists with student crisis management. The Florida Mental Health Act (Baker Act) provides emergency services and temporary detention for mental health evaluation and treatment when required. The Florida Substance Abuse Impairment Act (Marchman Act) provides emergency services for substance abuse assessment and stabilization when required.
